I quite liked it. Not as good as Bodies or Rudebox though. Better than Tripping. Hopefully it's a grower.

first listen, it was pretty catchy. sounds like robbie's having a lot more fun now, since his reunion with Take That...

... hopefully, the video's gonna be classic.

I'm going with oh dear.

Duet with Cher Lloyd next? Might help in USA.

Oh for christ's sake this is the second time I've heard this comparison and already it's growing stale. Why the comparison? Is it the horns? The strings? The catchiness? The campness? The cover art?

Seriously, I want to know, because none of those features was ever invented, pioneered nor trademarked by a tuneless little gremlin like Lloyd. Just because it sounds like Lloyd's music doesn't make a comparison like that valid - 'Candy' sounds much more like past Robbie hits - most notably 'Tripping' - than anything Lloyd's done.

Best song since his Intensive Care album, theres a real sense of fun that Rudebox and RKVS missed

Don't think it's too bad - in fact sounds very familiar - maybe sounds like something the Belle Stars did in the eighties.

Also a bit like Cross My Broken Heart by Sinitta.

I properly love it. Pop in it's truest form.

Robbie Williams compared with Cher Lloyd, never thought I would see the day.

I quite like it, despite it sounding like something from The Tweenies.

So the 9.5million listeners that Chris Evans gets are nobody? Bigger audience than if it had premiered on Radio 1 breakfast show.

Makes no sense. Chris Evans has the most listened too breakfast show on the Radio. Robbie also took the track to Radio 1 about an hour later and played it to another 7 million listeners. Thats around 16 million listeners in the space of about 90 minutes...

Stock Aiken Waterman should sue. It's a bit TOO like Cross My Broken Heart by Sinitta.

It sounds like a rip off of the Haribo sweets advert.

I had listen to this last night and my first thoughts were that it was bit forgetable, maybe a grower, and could have been an Olly Murs track.

Fifteen minutes later I went up stairs to check on my kids and relaised that I was singing the chorus in my head - so its definitely catchy!
