EE: Why did Ronnie mother Roxy so much?
Not sure, they haven't really explored Roxy's past well on the show. We know she did drugs, we know she hooked up with a dodgy fella and that's about it. I guess Ronnie was just a control freak which we saw for ourselves later on.
Why did Ronnie mother Roxy?
Coz their mother was shit and absent, coz their father raped Ronnie and Ronnie was desperate not to have that happen to Roxy, because Ronnie's own daughter was taken away from her at a young age...erm..and probably a hundred other great reasons lol

Exactly.
This was pretty much explained at the rape reveal. Archie was raping Ronnie. When Glenda abandoned the girls, Ronnie promised to herself that she wasn't going to allow the same thing that happened to her happening to Roxy i.e. the rape, her father hurting her etc. She said to Roxy “do you remember how I came into your bed every night? Archie got to me but I promised myself I would never let me hurt you".
Later on as they "broke free" from Archie Ronnie continued to be the one that provided for them, whilst Roxy got into drugs and all sorts of troubles i.e. the situation with her fiancé Damien when they arrived in EE etc.
I thought Ronnie and Roxy's relationship was very endearing. If only B.K had never taken over EE. He destroyed one of the best characters the show has had in the last 10 years or so.

he ruined her and the show,really liked Roxy back then too, shes a nasty, selfish self centered cow now
