Tony Discipline- new contract?
I have a funny feeling that Tony was offered a new contract as he seems to be staying on in the Square...
Heaven knows why LN wants to keep him on! |

I hope not! I always found Tyler much more offensive than Anthony and had even started to warm to Anthony in his last couple of weeks with his relationship with Alice.
Can't stand Tyler, even his face irritates me! |

Tyler must be one of the most unpopular characters ever on EE...if Lorraine Newman means business then he should be axed- if he has been offered a new contract its an insult to the audience!

No idea why LN would want to keep him on, his character is terrible and the boy cannot act, he isnt even the best looking lad on their now Joey is around for eye candy...

Discipline seems (slightly) more versatile than the actor playing Joey. I just don't understand why he is still there
Eastenders are incapable of writing a decent young male 'twenty-something' character anymore.

It's clear to me he is being kept on to give Whitney something to do while her family away. I'm sure once Carol, Bianca and co are settled back into the Square he will disappear.
Either that or Kirky gave him a new contract before Newman took over and he never got round to sorting out Anthony's. |

Well Joey is not working and Tamwar is a bit of a spare part now...
I like FatBoy but there is no direction at all with his character.. The best young character and actor is Jay (Jamie Borthwick) by far... |

OK Peter is still in his teens but would they manage him any better. They'd have him making cow eyes at girls, getting drunk and working in the chippy. |

OP you do not speak for the entire audience so you can't say what is and isn't an insult to them. Tyler is still here because he's a decent young character...the actor is good enough at playing Tyler and doesn't take over scenes like Derek or Joey...
This is like the 1000th thread I've seen from you on this. Tyler is still there so just get over it and accept that some people are fans of the character. |

With his lack of screen time I don't see him sticking around for much longer.

what purpose does he even serve he doesnt even have any relationship with Micheal to speak of, I really am at a loss as to why hes still there,I really hope when Carol Bianca and the kids come back they put Whitney back with her family, and get rid of Tyler, infact if they just wanted to use somone to keep whitney around why didn't they just keep her with fatboy, she was much better with him anyway
