Lol, there's never any official contract for anything in soaps.

Sometimes all within the same scene someone is having an interview, offered the job, told to start straight away and asked if they can manage whilst their boss buggers off somewhere for the afternoon.

I think they're playing it just right, letting her settle into the Square first before throwing her into a big story.
I think it's only a matter of time before she's back in the Vic. She should be at the heart of the show and having the most unlikeable female character as landlady(Kat) isn't a good idea.
Can you think of anyone better to run the Vic? I hope Alfie still works there.

I hope Sharon stays in the Vic - I really, really cannot bare the Moons in the Vic. They are literally lifeless, and need to be relegated because once again they've failed to work as a unit.
