I think Body of Proof is a fantastic medical show, and is beginning to really show in the ratings chart!! Dana Delany is a fantastic actress, and I cant wait to see where they take season 3, especially with the cast changes of Bud, Sam, and Peter being written out.......going to be an interesting one.....

I'll miss Bud & Sam TBH, but Peter was always a bit Meh, although why bother giving him the whole adoption storyline when he's getting written out anyway?

I did like Dani though, her death was a shocker.

If anyone's still watching this, be sure to watch this week's episode. It deserves several awards - for the least realistic plane crash ever on TV, the most inept, brainless plot, the most cliché-riden dialogue and probably the worst acting of the year so far.

It was so bad it was simply amazing.

It really was

Also have you noticed how they have tried turning it into Bones? They have just as many scenes in the Police interrogation room as the ME's office and there are definitely two leads now.

I suppose the network figured this change will bring in more viewers.

Yep, but don't all ME/pathology/forensics-based shows do the same thing? From Quincy to CSI to Silent Witness, if the squints did nothing but run tests in their labs (which I suspect is what they really do) there would be little to interest the viewer. So we always end up with the scientists taking over the police work and having 'interesting' personal lives to keep us entertained.

True but in the two previous seasons Peter was always in the Lab or out with Megan. You didn't see the inside of the interrogation room on a weekly basis if ever.

They have really changed the whole format to one that has been extremely successful on other shows in an attempt to keep it on air. Last week not withstanding it has worked to a degree.

I can't say old episodes of BoP live very long in my memory! At least it's a bit less grisly than Bones. I thought it had been cancelled after season 2 but somehow it survived. I'm not holding out too much hope for a season 4, though.

I'm watching it out of habit at the moment, and the occasional FMB sighting.

They've retooled it this season, adding Mark Valley as a love interest for Dana but it's the same old, same old, with another love triangle.

July on Alibi channel. I tweeted them asking not long ago. No official date, just July.

Yes only 13 episodes to season 3.

They tried to retool the show, but it was still too run of the mill.

I felt they should have gone down the female Quincy route rather than a CSI route.

I read the last episode is pretty much a wrap up, for those who are curious
No crappy cliffhangers for those fans

yes, it's been axed... Mark Valley doesn't really have much luck with his roles...... he's been a in few series (recently) which have been axed.
it's definitely not down to his acting skills...... he can act, I guess he just chooses the wrong show/role.....

Human Target was definitely not his fault. Sadly the producers tried to make it more woman friendly and ruined the show in the process.

I think he had better offers when he was in Fringe and Boston Legal.

Human Target should have been the Person of interest before PoI became PoI.

Watching on Alibi. I can see why cancelled, the reworking they applied for this season is absolute crap. Is now just a generic crime show clone. They have removed virtually all the medical stuff which made it a bit different from similar shows.

I am stcking with it but Dana's character never became likable. They tried to soften her but not enough, I have to really like the main character, they don't have to be perfect....Tony Soprana for example........but there wasn't enough about her to care.

That's because Tony Soprano was a fully realised character, created by David Chase and acted by James Gandolfini....Body Of Proof on the other hand is badly written, acted and shot. I've watch it because it is so bad it's weirdly entertaining in an MST3K sort of way.

Once Mark Valley arrived, I switched off. The moment he arrived in Harry's Law, I switched off too. Haven't been able to watch him since Boston Legal and was so relieved when he left.

I had no intention of watching season 3, Reboots never work. Added to which, Megan is such an unlikeable character.
