I have a iPhone 4s my wife has a Samsung galaxy, the problem we have with a busy schedule is that she has a diary and I have mine, so what I'm looking for is an app where I can enter in a diary and she can see it and visa versa so she can put something in and I can see it! Is there an app ?

If you use a shared Google diary then the iPhone and Galaxy should be able to see those.

Me and my wife use a shared google calendar (i set up just for the purpose, so we dont use the email), that both our iphones use. Then we have our own personal email accounts.

Using this technique i also download the calendar as a scheduled task on my pc to backup.

you don't need an android app for google calendar. Just add the shared account to the phone and it will show up in the calendar. (or, a neater solution would be to share the shared calendar with your individual accounts; the phones then pick them up anyway)
