Mine is

2006. Loved this year so much, I was 15 years old and really reminds me of the last time I was able to be a care free kid with no worries. Some of my favourite albums and singles from the decade were released that year and I always love listening back to songs from that year

I also really like 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005 and (don't shoot me) 2012 as well. The worst are 2002, 2007 and 2011 in my opinion. 2001, 2008, 2009 and 2010 were all OK I guess

2005 and 2008 are my fav years so many great tunes in those years but i'm still fond of music from 2003, 2004 and 2007!

I think the best were 2003, 2006 and 2007.

And the worst were 2009 and 2011.

2012 has been okay so far tbh.

I think mine is 2005, as 3 of my 6 fave songs of the decade were from then.

The next most notable years were earlier years apart from 2003.

The worst year could just be 2012. Current indications are that I like my fave song of 2012 less than most of my top 40 songs of 2000-09, and it could be my weakest fave single of the year since 1991.

2000, then a huge gap until 2009, 2010 and 2011. I haven't heard enough from 2012 really to have a proper opinion on it yet, although from what I have I'm not quite sure it compares...

2002, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011. There have been some good songs in 2012 so far though.

I have a weird love for 2007, I think it's the first year I really connected with a few artists, and some albums I massively liked like Myths of the Near Future by Klaxons, Favourite Worst Nightmare by Arctic Monkeys & Made of Bricks by Kate Nash came out. I still listen to them all the time and they bring back so many happy memories.

a few years ago i rated every year from 1960 - 2007, by rating every chart track, 2003 came remarkably high beaten only by my beloved mid 60's.
