I haven't read the link, but I have no idea why people hate her either. Has she killed someone? No. A sex tape of her was released and since then she's played it quite smart and has made a hell of a lot of money from different opportunities that have been offered to her. I doubt she has any interest at all in Kanye West and she's probably just using him, however I don't see that or anything else she's done as a reason to actually hate her!! I mean, nobody here I'm assuming has even met the woman.

People resent blanket coverage and lots of wonga in the bankj given to someone who does't show a talent.
If a new singing or acting 'star' is discovered its all up there on stage. If someone is praised because of a reality TV show or sex tape then people can see through that. The Empress has no clothes. Plus its a godawful family. |

I think she is completely blame-less, it is not her who is sticking her face in newspapers, magazines and TV screens all day everyday its our filthy western gutter media. So personally I wouldn't hate her for anything ..it just makes me detest the scum-bag revolting press/media that much more.

I doubt many people actually "hate" her. Think she's irrelevant and irritating? I'd say that's perfectly fair. I have no idea why the UK media have latched onto her and her family when we have enough zlisters of our own.

The article is more about why people like John Hamm and Daniel Craig don't like her than the general population.
She doesn't get that while she probably does work very hard her image and identity is about being vacuous. |

She has a fragrance... developed by other people which she only approved of to add to her endorsement lists.
She has a clothing line... that actually appears to be ran by Khloe since Kim could barely find time to approve things and then had a tantrum at the fashion show after they line had already been produced to be sold to retailers. Just because you keep busy, doesn't mean you are productive. Gym instructors are not going to put architects or builders out of their jobs even if they live active lifestyles. |

I don't get why people hate her either. She hasn't done anything to warrant being hated.
And it bugs me when actors who think they're awesome criticise people like the Kardashians. It's hardly like they're out saving the world either. |

As others have said, people don't really hate Kim Kardashian. But they hate what she represents - talentless, fickle, shallow. Gets famous because of a sex tape, has huge wedding but the marriage lasts just 72 days, gets into a new romance 5 minutes after said marriage has broken up, seems to care about nothing but the way she looks.....and yet she is celebrated and worshipped by the media. There's something very wrong with the current celebrity culture, and she represents all that is wrong with it.

I never see the appeal of watching shows like this. The Kardashians do nothing. As far as I'm aware, it's a family that does nothing except go shopping and then talk about what they bought. I question why they even find an audience.
