I find it odd. cause why not ask deana to come to the party if they talk /text on the phone? not even a tweet from adam asking deana if she is coming to his party.deana could not just go uninvited.first of all she seems to be working a lot. plus she will have to book a hotel room,such things one must know for sure in advance to make time to attend.deana was not asked or invited by adam ,who is the birthday man..

I'm not sure that accommodation was arranged for anyone though. It was in the nature of a public party - tickets were sold. Any of us could have gone. Luke and Adam are staying in London for a month, presumably paid for, though they are wisely not talking about work 'in the pipeline', which always seems to be the kiss of death for any housemates' prospects. Adam's twitter for the week leading up to the party consisted largely of invitations to come along. I think that was all that was involved. If Deana didn't want to attend, that was fine, but there was no need to make the bald statement, as she did, that she couldn't go because she hadn't been invited.

Lol. Well, there is something in that. Luke and Adam can hardly expect to spend the rest of their lives travelling the country taking photographs of each other and putting them on twitter.

Becki was there on the twitcam. I can assure you she seemed very happy and appears to get along as well with Adam as Luke does. When she didn't appear on screen she was still tweeting and answering questions. Luke also said she would have been a fabulous BB contestant.

Even odder to have a birthday party which involves friends being on the same level as 'any of us', selling tickets and advertising it on Twitter. From Deana's reaction, on Twitter, it sounded like she had only heard about it through someone asking if she was going.

I agree, the whole thing sounds rather strange. I only receive information via this forum, I'm not on twitter and I'm not part of any of the facebook groups. I did hear that Adam's birthday party was arranged though their management team and also that Lauren found out on twitter rather than having a personal invitation. I would imagine that Deana had rather more messages to wade through and that may have been why she thought she wasn't asked to go.

This whole thing rather demonstrates the limitations of twitter and similar methods of communication and also what happens when people jump to conclusions before finding out the full facts.

I think they are all getting to grips with twitter. Before that, Lauren tried to invite Luke and Adam to a party on Jersey, and Alex Sibley came onto twitter to say something like "things like that are better sent as a direct message".

Their lucky getting that many.

I think it was quite obvious to everyone that Adam and Deana rub eachother the wrong way in the house, this is an Adam/Deana thing, Luke likes her but he's so tight with Adam then she won't really get a look in even if she wants to

It did go up to about 250. To be honest it would have been nice for us watching if it had been 25. Every time I tried to ask a question it would appear about 15 tweets from the top and never be noticed.

Probably best if Adam and Jay don't start tweeting each other. The internet might explode.

Your take on it seemed to be very unfair to Deana, which is why I objected to it, and Adam's response to being admonished by a Deana fan was strangely petulant, instead of just explaining the situation.

Aaaagh! I can't do 2pm! What kind of time is that??? There are various things I can do during the day like gab away on digitalspy, switching with lightning speed to a more respectable screen when necessary, but listening to Luke and Adam encouraging people to send ever more rude jokes is not one of them. Perhaps I could fake a heart attack and go home?
