Bootcamp - Stages?
Hello All, I was just wondering how the stages went in order of Bootcamp this year... Was there three rounds?
I know round two was similar to 'The Voice' format where they battled to progress BUT instead both contestants could get through rather than just one and then the third and final round the last 50 Performed in Liverpool in front of thousands of people. So, what happened in the first round? Was there even one? Was just presuming they all performed on their own again (if they weren't sent home immediately which I know they did again this year) Anyone know? Cheers

Isn't it just group performances and not battles?

First stage:
Automatically sent home as soon as they arrived - like last year. Second stage: Performed in groups, but anyone could go through (eg. all of them could go through, all could be sent home, half could go through etcetc. it wasn't The Voice style set up). Third stage: The final 60 odd performed solo. |

Automatically sent home as soon as they arrived - like last year..... . It is needlessly cruel to 'put people through' when they have no chance whatsoever of winning and never did. If this is clear from the first audition, which is all they have to go on, they should be saying 'No' at audition stage. If they really can't make their minds up at that stage, they need to change '3 yesses, you're through' to '3 yesses, you will be considered for boot camp'. |

This is something that has happened more since the live auditions and I think it's ridiculous. 'You're through' should mean that you are through to a stage where you have some opportunity to impress.

However I do agree they should at least be able to sing again, especially because a lot of people (Like Matt) in the past who suprisingly or not went on to win it SHINED at BootCamp so.. |
