Anyone following Under the Dome on 5? It's not the sort of thing I usually watch but I think they're doing a really good job of keeping the tension up so far!

You'll all be pleased to hear that my copy of Natural Harvest arrived this morning. I bought it for my friend's birthday but who knows, maybe I'll find it so useful that I'll want to keep it.
Amongst the recipes are "almost white Russian", "tuna sashimi with homemade dipping sauce", "man made oysters" and "tiramisu surprise". The desserts section recommends "If the dining situation allows for more intimacy, you may wish to add the semen at the table which makes for a truly memorable dessert." It also says at the back that on the day of cooking your should collect some semen early in the morning, as this is when it is at its thickest and most plentiful, as well as immediately before cooking. This is probably cooking at its most tiring. |

He would be horrified if he could read this!

I don't know if the recipe book has disturbed me more than the massive spider that appeared next to me as I was watching Big Brother in bed just now
I am thankful that I don't have that book and I am thankful that I have a husband who dispatches arachnids |

I love Lauren Harries, I honestly don't think we're that different in terms of personality.

LAUREN IS YOUR FAVOURITE?! She is utterly and uncomfortably bizarre. I highly recommend you search for a documentary about her family by Keith Allen on YouTube. Her and her entire family are complete con artists.

I love the friendship she has with Courtney its so cute. I liked Lauren but her sense of self entitlement is annoying and the fact that all her nominations were for the same reason doesn't look good on her at all. |

I'm not sure how much of a friendship that is after Lauren's "you won't go in there and nominate me will you" speech.

I have to agree with kay-vinny, all her nominations being for the same reason doesn't look great, although I would have thought that that was something that could be raised with her to her face.
She's very needy in a lot of respects - all the bits where she needs Courtney to re-affirm their relationship constantly are uncomfortable to watch. I don't know whether her personality traits are down to her experiences as a transgender person or not, I just find her fascinating and irritating in equal measures Can't wait for Charlotte and Carol to come to blows, it will happen! Charlotte is very aware of everything she is doing and is living up to the billing she has on Geordie Shore, wonder how long she can keep it up I don't really have a favourite at the moment ![]() Here's a bit of the Keith Allen Documentary where he takes the family to task http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3_bZgxIsG4 |

I just watched the whole Keith Allen documentary, wasn't half biased. Yes the Harries' are fraudsters and their qualifications are practically non-existant but I didn't like the way the audience were encouraged to hate them, they're not bad people like Keith tried to make out and his outburst at the end was very unprofessional. I also think Lauren herself is greatly misunderstood, it's clear that she hasn't had an easy childhood and the abuse she and her family received is awful, I admire her eccentricity and unique persona which many people just label as being weird. Quite frankly I think it's been a while since someone gave her a hug.

The way Carol and her friend Denise before her have carried on, she's got some nerve judging anyone elses behaviour in there! |

I couldn't believe that Lauren did what she did - sophie took her to task because of her past and i don't think she should be villanised because of it
Lauren should have got an official warning, what the hell are 'stomach pills' anyway? Courtney to win! |
