Just in case you thought Anne was literally eating a toad in a hole for dinner.

Which is rather tasty as well, if cooked just right

Sorry Jacob! I should have specified it a bit more - there were definitely no amphibians involved in the making of tonight's dinner

Amy, it was fab! I would like to say that there's some left over to send you in the post, but alas......

Not yet Koz, they sent me a tracking number for Royal Mail - it's somewhere between Edinburgh and Peterborough as we speak!

Not that hopeful that it will reach my ruralness til Thursday (so bought a packet today which will be more than enough!)

I was reading a discussion thread on DS about them today - there's so many different sorts and different opinions about what you should do, a lot of people slagging off the brand I went for! I bought some refills as well, so my outlay has been £23, not disastrous if I don't get on with them

I haven't had toad in the hole for years. The supermarket ready-made ones are yuck.

No matter how many times I hear it, the opening seconds of Euphoria get me dancing like a loon. Also, had a friend diagnose me with clinical depression because I have given up vodka since I last saw him!

Argh, super late replies as always!

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but does anyone still play Song Pop? I've been hooked on it ever since I wanted to earn enough coins to buy the Eurovision pack (mainly to beat my brother at the game!). I'm DarloJo if you can add by username! The Boy Bands pack is great too, except for the inclusion of One Direction

Yep, the rough Morrisons in the town.
Haha, I worked there for a couple of years while I was a student Hope the weather's ok up there - saw some of the pictures of the A1/Haughton Road/Railway lines and it looks mental

Anything longer than a day or further afield than France and I doubt I would have been able to go!

We never had chance to do Spanish at all at my school. It was French in year 7+8 and then if you were good enough at French by the end of 8 you did German as well and then when it came to options you had to choose at least one language and if you wanted to do both you had to sacrifice something from the History/Geography block or the humanities block.

What I hated most about school was the expectation that I had to be there 5 days a week.

...

Annoying women on the bus deciding that it was okay for people to be gay because "they're alright". Three people that one of them knew had "admitted" they were gay. Admitted?!!

I was mostly annoyed because their inane chatter was distracting me from my book (appropriately, Clare Balding's!) "I went out with a few more boys, because that's what I thought I was meant to do, taking them out like books from the library and returning them when I didn't get into the story. It was another few years before I realized I'd been looking in the wrong section of the library." Aw.
Yeah, same here - did German for a couple of years but the teacher wasn't great so I dropped it And as mentioned on Twitter, will definitely give Clare Balding's book a try - just when we couldn't like her more, finding out she's a Eurovision fan = brilliant! The less said about the bus women though, the better...

Do I offer my sympathies for the rough weather over there, or rub it in that I spent this afternoon on the beach and am now the same colour as Dr. Zoidberg?

It was painful in the shower though.

I know young people are involved in more collisions, but middle aged male drivers tend to be the worst drivers.

It's been pretty bad but it was sunny for most of today. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Damn you!

What is all the fuss about?

I live in Wales, it always rains.

You can't have the green without the rain.

Somehow managed to get Love is Blind played in work today. Not the best song, in fact by far one of the worst songs in history (and everyone agreed) but what a success in getting a full Eurovision song played!

We were working on something called Love is Blind and I slyly suggested searching for songs called Love is Blind to use as a theme tune, fully aware of what YouTube would serve up for us!

I still hate that song, it doesn't help that my hatred is reinforced by the fact that Lithuania got through the final instead of Netherlands. If I was in Joan's position I would have ran up on stage and kicked Donny right in the groin.

I LOVE Love Is Blind. It's still my #1 song from this year. Amazing performance, and one of my fave moments from Baku was when they announced that it went through. I was incredibly happy, jumping up and down. Think I was the only one, but who cares.
