I've been inspired by Anne to make Toad In The Hole for me and my niece its all prepared now just waiting for her to arrive so I can cook it.
Almost reads like you are awaiting my arrival phill Sadly, I'm a bit too full up with pizza to accept your invite!

Cigarette count today usually = 10-15, today = 2

Might find those 2 a bit difficult to give up (first thing with a cuppa and one after dinner) but am persevering....

Bit of a commute as well Turned out ok although I think my batter was a bit thick(teach me to use a packet mix) was nice anyhow, turned out to be just me eating it so i only made an individual one.

Having a go at Scottish cuisine tonight, mashed potato, mashed sweet and haggis. I bet BBG eats this every night.

Im thinking this might be the best place for it. So I think I may have gotten Tonsilitis. This morning my throat really hurt. And this evening I know have a headache, throat is still killing, and whenever I swallow it feels like Im being stabbed in the neck. And Im pretty sure this is what usually happens for me when I have it, but usually the first night, I get some type of ear ache, so if that comes, Im gonna pretty much be dead, ad I hate ear infections and aches with a passion.

So Im gonna go to the college clinic Monday or Tuesday, see how it goes. But just wondering, is there any type of things that you lot usually do if you get Tonsillitis. I'm up for anything at all, cause I can cope with the pain much longer

A night in drinking with my flatmate and his friend has ended up with them going out and me staying in because I can't be arsed with a night club. Drunk by myself listening and possibly soon singing along to eurovision songs. In the words of the wanted this is an all time low haha

The obvious ones are icecream or really cold water, or try ibuprofen it's an anti inflammatory so it might give you some relief, I think you can also alternate with paracetamol as well every 2 hours.

Sorry, you think the best place to seek medical advice is the general discussion thread of a Eurovision forum?!

Shoot yourself in the neck and douse the wound with bleach and rat poison.

My flatmate has f*cked off to Madrid, and is neither use nor ornament anyway, so I might as well raid his supply of honey rum. Why anyone has a drinks cabinet is beyond me...

If I kept alcohol in cabinet I am sure I would end up being an alcoholic, I keep telling myself this will be my last vodka. This 35cl bottle of vodka is gonna be gone before I know it, last time I done this I was sick on my laptop and had to buy a new keyboard for it :/ hahah

Definitely, I'd be a wreck! Spirits are the worst though, as the mixer just goes out of the window by the fifth glass. I have a Polish beer in the fridge so I'm going to have that, and then I'll go rummaging. More fool him I guess. He obviously has too much money, all of these holidays, flitting around... *mumble

I rely more on food to help me have a good time as opposed to alcohol.

Agreed, even though its disgusting when you think of it I love kebabs. Mainly in Newcastle though, Manchester doesn't know how to do garlic sauce well

Had a very exciting day- I'm one of four people from my degree accepted to take part in an exchange programme with Georgia Southern Uni in the USA in January 2012 (for three months!!). If I don't come home dating "y'all" it'll be a wasted trip! I'll miss the MelFest final but should be able to Internet watch it.

It could also be glandular fever. I had it when I was 14 an ended up in hospital for a week.

I hope the trip covers time travel involved in taking you back 9 months into the past.

For one second I thought there was some pregnancy hint going on then I realised! 2013 just sounds too futuristic!
