Almost! I'd have bodged up the Gene Hackman one. At least Lynn wiped all the jackpot out yesterday, missing out on 20-odd grand would've been more annoying! Still amused by the idea that Descartes could've played ice hockey.

Great idea to have spent the money on going to the Canadian GP, the best race on the calendar imo.

Ah, thanks for all the comments guys, it was a brilliant experience! I actually arrived home from the airport today just in time for my game!! So managed to see it live! Need to catch up on the other eps, to see how cringe I was!

March seems like ages ago now, it does take a long time to air, and you can't apply for anything else until it has been broadcast!

So...whats next?!

A question about your little holiday Nick, did you go on your own or with someone?
I only ask because I've been thinking about taking myself on holiday next year although I'm toying with the idea of bringing someone with me.

I went on my own! Never done it before but I really enjoyed it, was good being able to do your own thing. There were loads of solo tourists around too so it didn't feel weird.

Only slightly strange thing is eating alone! But you soon get used to it!

You should definitely try travelling solo. I went to Australia on my own last year - best thing I've done!

I'm more annoyed about Scott and Alison. Judy was better than them both yesterday and was undermarked

Why are Only The Young so popular on here? I can't figure out any redeeming features and they come across as particularly karaoke. That version of Winner Takes It All has to be one of the worst X Factor performances of all time.

That sing-off was worse than last week!

Right result in the end. Jake is diabolical and should stick to the modelling. OTY aren't bad, they actually did a song from 2014 last night so that gives them a free pass for the week in my book.

Not surprised at Thom leaving, I've been saying for weeks he seems like the sort of person who gets through life on looks alone as he has all the personality of a frying pan.

And Only The Young being bottom 2 was pretty obvious as well tbh, they were given an even worse song than last week. At least Come On Eileen had a tune.

Thom has shown so much more personality as the weeks have gone, he really has come out of his shell, him and Iveta were so funny on ITT.

And I think he got through his rugby career on his sporting ability rather than his looks.

I wish they hadn't brought back the dance-off. It makes it all very boring and when it's a close decision the judges still manage to get it wrong. Simon should have gone.

Just came across this black and white trailer for an Iranian film called "A girl walks home alone at night". No spoilers.. and don't read any of the blurbs..
