Will be voting Green also! Although I live in Grant Shapps' constituency, so he's gonna win... oh well.

Every vote counts regardless of how safe a seat is. The percentage could have an impact on the negotiations.
As for my constituency, it's a semi-marginal that's gone with whoever has ended up in no.10 ever since it's been under the name it is now. So I'm dreading the prospect of the nation still being under Tory rule, based on that flimsy logic. I can't see Labour getting a 14% swing here, although I imagine they'll claw some back. It would need a landslide year for Labour to retrieve it. |

True, although many say it's not that fantastic anymore, hasn't been for a long a time... For example we don't have free healthcare like you do, though the taxes are much higher here than in the UK.
"Three Aces".... Surely that would be pronounced the "Three Asses"?

Ok, you guys persuaded me, went and voted. It won't make any difference whatsoever but at least then I can't complain when the Conservatives win my constituency!
They won 53% in the votes in 2010 with there nearest opponent on 23% (Lib Dem). I'd be slightly happy even if they just won by less. Their last MP did such a terrific job that she was forced to step down. But hey, everyone will still vote for them.

Labour for me too. I know there is one FM who is voting in Nigel farages area. I was in long discussions with him yesterday about UKIPs racist, homophobic views and most of all how he would take us out of Eurovision :O
Not sure my persuasion has worked on him tho

Another Labour voter here. We're more or less a one party state in North East England.
![]() It was quite depressing at work today listening to so many people that weren't bothered about the election. Some didn't even know the reason why the parties are different to one another.

I was first at my polling station this morning! 7am on the dot, more because I had a flight to Belfast to catch for work.
But I went with what I thought was best for my area and went for the local option. I voted Conservative 5 years ago, when the only two options in my area of scotland were them or the SNP. (but they won anyway) And now I'm in Dublin for the night with work meetings at 7am tomo! Molly Sterling has an article on page 3 of the Herald! |
