I think I want to cry looking at the exit poll. 5 more years of the Tories wiping the arses of the 1% whilst crippling the poor.

I utterly despite the Conservative Party. I couldn't be more depressed at the Exit Poll prediction.

This. But let's be positive guys. It's based on a survey of 22,000 people out of millions of voters so it could well be wrong - I hope.

Yougov exit poll is very different

CON 284
LAB 263
LIBS 31
SNP 48
UKIP 2
PLAID 3
GREEN 1

I'd sacrifice that extra Green gain for a few more Labour ones. Really stick the fight to the Tories.

UKIP failing miserably is fantastic, though.

With any luck, Farage won't win the seat he was standing in.

At least that will cheer me up a bit.

I'd just be delighted for Green to keep their seat tbh, would love them to gain though.

The difference in the BBC and YouGuv polls suggest that there's some tight seats out there..

Bristol West is probably hanging between Labour and Green. I'm sad that I wasn't there to make a little bit of a difference to the result.

Anyone think the votes should be revealed Eurovision style?

Presiding officer in dress that reflects the constituency, top vote getter receiving 12 points, final results arriving in a giant glittery envelope, Jan Ola Sand floating around menacingly three feet off the ground at counting stations across the country...

The Greens should do well in my constituency... it's never had a Green candidate before.

Me either! I plumped for Labour in the end though (Yes, I did end up voting) because the Green candidate is in his 60's/70's and isn't exactly ready to go. His campaign was very meh.

Might as well, just as much voting scandal in this.

Ended up voting Labour. I stood looking at my ballot for a few minutes and couldn't bring myself to put a cross next to the green candidate.

All media is writing in The Conservatives as the winners. Though, if they fail to break a majority then the Liberal Democrats won't be any help to make up the numbers.

Trying not to be defeatist.

Depends. If both parties get what the exit polls predict then they could! But Clegg's speech when he retained his seat pretty much confirmed that he's going to resign.

Looks pretty certain that we'll be seeing a Tory government with a potential little DUP coalition to strengthen the majority if needed. Still waiting on my beloved Bristol West crossing my fingers.

What a dreadful result! Next year we should have an internal selection and bring back juries!
