Euphoria moment!! I was with my Swedish beginner's tutorial group this morning (I'm taking it as a secondary course). We were working on the alphabet and we were given names of famous Swedes that we had to spell out loud.

Queen Loreen came up amongst the likes of Stieg Larsson, Benny Andersson and Björn Borg! I nearly squealed with excitement. Admittedly no one else had a clue who she was and the mere mention of the word eurovision raised a laugh but still, it made my day!

Well, wasn't Hotel GB a pile of crap?

Does anyone really believe that Mary/Gorden and co were actually on site for more than five minutes...

I loved it! I thought it would be rubbish before it began but it had enough moments to keep me engaged throughout the week.

Quick question - does anyone here use Spotify Premium? I'm using the 30-day free trial at the moment and it seems quite good!

Is there any difference, apart from there not being any adverts? The "enhanced sound quality" part seems a bit vague to me

I've noticed the difference for a few songs, in particular We Found Love and Wildest Moments. Also get to use the mobile app, which is a bit annoying at times when it's buffering but I've just found out you can download your playlists and listen to them offline; there aren't any pesky time limits or listening limits either. Once my NUS Extra card arrives I'll be able to get Spotify Premium for £5.00 a month for a year, which is only £1.25 a week. Seems like quite a good deal.

I still want to punch Bruce Forsyth, but additional kiss Lisa Riley!

Oh, and could Louis Smith be anymore like Lewis Hamilton with his sculptured facial hair and massive massive ego?!

Not sure if the local media have reported this but did you know he's from our area Anne? Anyone would have thought that BBC Look East would have pointed that out during every news bulletin whilst the Olympics were on.

Haha! Didn't you get bored with seeing his mug on the telly every night? Him and that boxer dude from Lowestoft .. was just reading an interview with Louis Smith when he was asked to describe his body and he said "toned, athletic, tanned and majestic" So pleased that he's not a complete knob jockey then

I hate what the idea of Eurovision has become for some people http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1742501

Some people still can't get past the 80's era and the jemini fiasco and still have outdated views.

How long till Rylan is linked with eurovision in a DS/news papper article didn't take long for kitty last year

I thought The X Factor was pretty good tonight. The DS forum obviously didn't of course with their annual "Worst live launch ever, it's completely jumped the gun, last series of X Factor ever?, they should be ashamed of themselves, they've ruined it" bollocks.

I thought it was absolutely diabolical. Nicole was the best thing about it.

All of the groups and the boys were awful. The only pass marks for me were Ella, Jade, Melanie, Carollynn(despite the awful song choice)

Kye was ok.

If it doesn't pick up I'm done and switching to Strictly

You sound like you're fresh from the X Factor forum! The only ones I didn't particularly like were the second boyband, the girl who sand that rubbish country(ish) version of Starship and obviously Chris who is eternally awful. But other than that it was pretty enjoyable!

Jahmene really did ruin Imagine what was he thinking, I think the bottom 2 will be both Louis's I think, also the wild card was really the wrong choice. Also what will will Lucy sing on Rock week or Disco week if Tulisa won't let her do covers?

This is the first time I've bothered to watch it this year and I only saw a few of the performances, but of the ones I saw, Ella was outstanding, Lucy fresh and original, Chris good but a bit cruise shippy, Jahmene absolutely diabolical and Carolynne surprisingly very strong considering it was a country version of a Nicki Minaj song.

Managed to blag an SVT pen and (randomly) a trolley release thingy at that Scandinavian Fair after going on about how much I love Melfest to the head of SVT World! Also the newsreader from Borgen was there which was very exciting! Not many people seemed to know who she was sadly.

X factor is so bland this year, only one I would be gutted to go would be Jahmene. One of the boybands should go tonight, silly putting two of them through. Going to split the very few votes they are likely to get. Guessing it will be that rapping group and one of the boybands in the bottom 2
