Amazing from Bolt! Just brilliant!

Now to bring Gatlin down in the 200!

Fantastic from Jess too, heartbreaking for KJT, just wanted to give her a big hug like lovely Phil did.

Excellent from Mo last night too!

Top of the medals table!

So glad Bolt got Druglin at the end.

Jess is a total superwoman. Really didn't expect her to return to the world stage and immediately get gold. Battle of the double barrelled names in Rio; JEH v KJT v BTE. Will be some battle.

I was heartbroken for KJT too, a real rollercoaster weekend for her. Hopefully she can pick herself back up and channel everything into the long jump. Jess is just out of this world, bring on Rio!

Also. So fun to see Tuka do so well. I boticed him 2 years ago afetr the U23 and have followed him since.

He did really well at the Europeans last year, making the final, and this year hes suddenly #1 in the world with a very good chance for a medal and even a gold :O

It's even more of a shame as she'd been going so well, 2 PBs and that last jump would have been massive if not for that millimetre or so on the board. She has the talent and hopefully this will only spur her on to great things.

So gutted for KJT. Although so happy for JEH (must be in for a shout of Sports Personality) and Bolt.

Got tickets for the mens 100m final and Heptathlon in Rio next year so CANNOT WAIT.

Just to add my delight at Bolt winning and Jess obviously. She really is Wonder Woman.

Absolutely devastated for KJT though

Would be nice to have a woman finally win again. The last one to do it was Zara Phillips and that was only because she's a royal.

I really felt Jo Pavey deserved it last year, though third place was still a great result

Same if results go Serena's way at the US Open. It would be amazing if she got Oversears Personality and Jess got the big one.

Amazing from Greg! Grand Slam beauty!

Excellent from Laura Muir too, so proud of her!
Great men's 800 result too with David, Adam and Tuka.

Christine looking smooth too, but going to be very tough.

Ok a bit of a different post. I'm currently doing my Masters dissertation currently and need people to fill out my survey. All is required is that you voted in the recent general election. Its on the impact of celebrities on voting intentions. It should only take 5-10 mins and I would be ever so grateful if you completed it!

Also done, so you've got the views of an oldie as well

PS: Took me WAY longer than it should as I decided to write my own dissertation beneath each question

Shown up again! Simply magnificent, what a legend Bolt is.

Can't wait to see what Dina and Big Daf do in their 200!

Shame Christine got caught out by Felix going hard early and burning everyone up.

Time is ticking on Edwards' record... Taylor had 11cm spare on the board!

I've also done your survey Nige, I prattled on rather a bit.

Aside from Gail Porter and Natasha they are all nuts, its really going to be a clash of personalities in there with one slanging match after the next

Jenna does not look amused that Tila is there. It's going to be a feisty house for sure.
