Well that has to be the biggest tennis upset I've ever seen, no contest

I can't, I just can't. What the hell Serena, all my favs go out so I finally get on board the CYGS wagon and then that happens...

Just lol at the fact tomorrow's final sold out before the men's final... Viagogo must be creaking under the pressure of all those ticket returns.

Imagine the odds of an all Italian final pre tournament

I wonder what odds you'd have got on Vinci of all people being the person to stop the CYGS! Disappointing as I've really been willing Serena to do it but Vinci does seem lovely and she played the match of her life out there.

Vinci alone was 300/1 pre-tournament!

I'm so so gutted for Serena. Would've crowned her career off. Legitimately not even sure I can watch the final tomorrow after that result.

That was some match tiebreak! At least Hingis has restored the natural order of the tennis world today.

What an incredible result! I think I'm still in shock! Fair play to Vinci, she played the match of her life, I was joking with the other half about there being 2 Italians in the Semi's, never mind the final!!! Crazy! One for the old gals too!

Serena looked so shaky from 2nd set game 3, she seems to be impossible to beat, but we have seen a few times this year that she can be broken. I am not a big Serena fan, but it seems sad for her challenge to end in this way, I would say I am all for the new guard, but Roberta and Flavia are hardly young up and comings!! What might have been with Jo!

Will be a great final nonetheless, first US Open final without Serena since 2010!

Very good indeed! I like Tom Watson too

And I've just been blown sideways on a grass verge in the middle of rural Norfolk! #tourofbritain (would have been rude not to, literally a mile and a half from my house!)

Well that was a turn up for the books! Certainly got all the players talking on twitter. She is going to see out the rest of the season, not quitting in the middle of a tournament like a month later like mad Marion did.

What a lovely display at the end, so nice to see 2 female tennis players actually getting on!

Shocked by her announcement, however she is never going to recreate that moment, so quit while ahead! And lets not forget...Heather beat her at Eastbourne last year!

But it was so adorable at the end with them chatting away like they had just been for a hit at the local courts, so amazing to see.

The red wine and coke is lovely actually.

If you like sweet. Most of the people who try it say It's better than They thought

And some actually like it

This whole Cecil the Lion thing is totally appalling. Now I'm against violence in all its forms but I wouldn't lose too much sleep if someone decided to take the law into their own hands against the pathetic scum who did this. People like him make me ashamed to be human.

I've tried red wine & coke a few times before, the coke loses most of it's flavour anyway so you may as well just have red wine on it's own.

It sounds like the polar opposite of a white wine spritzer.
