The tournament had to come to life eventually. Didn't know where to look between the matches! Thank the football gods for sparing us another Portuguese heart breaker.
![]() Speaking of Portugal. It shows how stupid the format is for the 3rd placed teams that Portugal can fluke their way into the last 16 by drawing all their matches. Meanwhile Albania who actually managed to win a match are out. |

Today's games were great. I was sooo happy when Iceland scored that goal in the last minute.
I was really hoping Hungary would beat Portugal though. That would have been amazing and I wanted to see Ronaldo throw a fit again

Andy does the business again!
![]() Heather's been serving like a boss in the mixed doubles! Where is this and those hand skills when she's playing singles? Champion's Ball later on is going to be swarming with Brits, what with all the wheelchair success too. Such a great day for British sport!

Heather is holding this together!!!
I haven't enjoyed mixed doubles this much since Jamie and Jelena in 2007. Glad to see Kate and Wills stuck around. So pleased I scheduled this weekend off! |

What a day for British Tennis!
Andy and Heather both winning just is such a fantastic end to a brilliant tournament, so so chuffed for them. 4 British champions today - just incredible! A really enjoyable and competitive European Athletics Champs too, already counting down to the next DL on Friday! And a decent enough Grand Prix too...just shame about the winner... Now come on France lets make this a brilliant night! And hopefully I can get an urgent dentist appointment tomorrow for my mouth....

What an absolute farce! Greece 2004 all over again.
![]() Stank up the tournament from the first match to the last and could only win one match inside 90mins. |

The tournament has been a bit of a disaster from a football point of view.
France blew it in the final though. Played like the result was inconsequential. |
