I'm really liking it at the moment, although to be fair the weather's been kind so far. I have no doubt the novelty will have worn off by January and I'll never want to see another slab of granite again.

Not really my scene Last Friday you say? Round about the time you were paying some poor woman to let you dry hump her I was at the Oktoberfest celebrations.
A combination of them both sounds like bliss!

You should go along for a laugh. It is highly amusing

To be honest I'm not a huge fan of German beers. Maybe I've been in France too long but nothing beats a good Stella Artois!

Blimey, I just looked at their prices and that's an expensive night out just "for a laugh". Does Mrs bbg know about this?

I love Stella, it's definitely my favourite beer.

She knows we went but I told her I wasnt going to get any dances. She knows fine well that I would have. It wasn't that pricey at all actually. You could get a dance for 20 quid and how far they went depended on the girl

To be honest I'd be completely mortified if one of them came up to me. I wouldn't know where to look!

I went into a lapdancing club in Amsterdam once. With naked women

I found the whole thing very demeaning.

I'm pretty sure male strippers don't walk up and down the bar with their genitalia on show, unless you can enlighten me?

I just finished my interview aswell.

Had to do a literacy and numeracy assesment beforehand and was confronted with some fairly terrifying maths questions but I did really well. Just waiting to hear from them again for another formal interview, I'm feeling very confident.

I hate those assessments i had to do one for Asda when in applied thought i had F***ed it up because the instructions weren't very clear on what you were supposed to do.

Fingers crossed for you anyway.

You still have to be able to count to work for supermarkets, because there are loads of grumpy old people (like me) who refuse to use the self-service checkouts. We prefer to go to a manned (or perhaps its "personned" nowadays) till and speak to a human.

I am trying to keep people in jobs of course, I don't have a phobia about the words "unexpected item in baggage area".

that's the most annoying sound in the world.

Still haven't heard anything so take it I haven't been successful. i will wait for one of them soulless generic "we're sorry you were unsuccessful this time, best of luck for the future" emails

They delivered the bad news via the phone. The feed back was that I looked uncomfortable and lacked eye contact, no idea how they came up with that, they went on to compare asda to a stage, the only stage I can compare it to is the Jeremy vile stage.

Aw, don't worry Phil. There are many more things to do in life than sit at a till being confronted by the most gormless, chavy, sorry looking people the world has to offer.

I didn't get a job in asda when I was in school. I took it as a compliment
