Can I ask why?
South Korea/Japan are my #1s. France/Italy/Germany are all OK; Spain little bit less. "Small" EUR countries (BEL, NL, EST, LIT, LAT) are good Scandinavia just so so (I know; bad) Ex-USSR very good (incl Russia- I know again). Loive UKR I like Greece. And the nations that normally do well, as well as the host |

Of course I support some other countries and athletes more than others but its always the UK inside of me!

The two commentaters on the Mens Singles Final are as dull as ditchwater and also, unlike the other BBC commentaters at the other events, totally uninvolved in the action and Andy Murray's efforts to win a second gold medal..

The most miserable commentators ever.. which included the priceless comment.. "Murray coming over to a little band of English supporters".. I think they were wearing 'See you jimmy' tartan hats
Great win Andy

We will never see a British player of the calibre of Andy Murray in our lifetimes again. First player to win two Olympic Golds in singles.

Just a regular week in Malmo unfortunately. It's been kicking off over there with regularity over the past couple of years.

Had we lost it? Good time to resurrect in time for the election vote in the US
Highly amusing that Trump's aides have taken away his Twitter access - can't be trusted with Twitter but can be trusted with the nuclear codes? Scary thought! |

Whilst Hilary is far from the ideal candidate she is certainly the lesser of two evils. I think Donald is one of the most despicable human beings to ever walk the Earth, anyone who supports him and his wretched views is clearly psychopathic or just a bigoted moron.
Where's Bernie Sanders? I miss Bernie.

Where's Bernie Sanders? I miss Bernie. ![]() Both candidates are utterly horrendous. It's a lose-lose situation. If I were American, I'd vote for Jill Stein (Green). Hilary is dispicable and corrupt - oddly, even pro-Democrat papers are calling her corrupt and calling her out on her accusations via email that Saudi helped fund 9/11 and then Clinton in her current role helps arm them! (Saudi are also interestingly the #1 donor of the Clinton Foundation!). But then... Trump is Trump. |

Where's Bernie Sanders? I miss Bernie. ![]() ![]() It's all going to come down to who has the momentum. Trump has inspired a large group of White American men, but Hilary needs to persuade the people (e.g. Ethnic minority's) who voted for Obama & don't particularly care for her, to vote for her. She has the much tougher job imo. There is a group of people who genuinely like Trump, and I'm not sure the same could be said for Hilary. As you said, she's just the lesser of two evils. It's basically a 'Anyone but Trump' vote for her, from most people. |
