I'm thinking of booking a holiday in the Algarve for next Easter. Found a really nice hotel at a good price. Has anybody ever been there, or have any experiences of the area? It looks really beautiful from the pictures I've seen.

It seemed a bit unnecessary. People only need to know that I'm booking a holiday, not who I'm going with. I regularly edit my posts.

Surely if you are using parcel tape, the word you should use is not 'mown', but 'uprooted' ?

Can I rant? Can I? Well, I'm bloody going to anyway
After having some mad growth removed from my back on Monday, I wake up yesterday morning to find that I have a comedy elbow! It was REALLY comedy, proper looked like I had stuck a bright red golf ball on the end of it. Went to the doctors and he drained about half a pint of fluid from it, and I'm now recuperating, but it's SO painful Apparently, all of this is to do with Lupus - if you're ever offered Lupus as a hobby STEP AWAY, it sucks Rant over Thank you |

That sounds horrible Anne, I hate blood because I'm so darn squeamish. I cut myself at work once with a bread knife and it was a tiny little slit on my index finger but I went really light headed and nearly passed out.

To touch on something a while ago. I too am completely stressed by college atm. I was given 3 different reports to do, a few weeks ago. Each a presentation (I cant public speak, so thats gonna be fun), and reports between 10-20 pages each. All due tomorrow, I finished the last one this morning. But then, I also have a lab thats due tomorrow, at 10PM, worth 10% of that modules grade.
And the added stress of just changing one of my optional random modules, from Japanese (no idea why I picked it), to Psychology. So have to catch up on three weeks of that by next Tuesday. (This optional module idea annoys me, as it has nothing to do with my actual course of Computer Science. Once this month finish's I'll be so much more relaxed. But while trying to finish this lab, I have been listening to Loreens album on youtube. It is both an amazing album, and the perfect accompaniment (?) to Java Programming!!! |

Does anybody else hear Rebecca Ferguson's new song as "your back, sack, crack..." or is it just me?

Christ Alive I've just spent the past hour listening to Christmas songs.
I've promised to make sure this year is the best ever, although that will involve when my parents have one of their famous "first world problem" arguments that only come around at Christmas, with last years highlight being "What do you mean you've only f**king bought Stilton? How am I supposed to arrange the bloody cheeseboard without a Stilton" |

Think of it as a lucky escape Maddy
![]() I could have done with a friend in the city to have coffee with today, Foxy -you missed your chance! Am completely exhausted after trudging round getting winter wardrobe for LA (and a few nice things for me!) plus getting all the party food for hubsters surprise party in 10 days time, it's all nestling in a friend's freezer now Elbow hurts Doctor drained it again and injected steroids into it - like I need anymore of those bastards ... after 6 months on steroid tablets, I can barely get through the front door
