It ended with perhaps the defining line of my life. To add some context to the argument, one of the major tipping points for me is that although this girl has apparently the loosest bowels and most balding pubic area I've ever witnessed, she also is incapable of cleaning the toilet/ wiping away her own pubic hair from the shower.
Halfway through the argument when she'd informed me I'd put the can in the wrong bin for the 3rd time in a minute, I shot her down with "I might occasionally put a can in the wrong bin but at least I have the good grace to wipe up your pubic hair". For a split second, I thought I'd stunned her but she went off like I'd never seen before. It was spectacular, though. |

I cannot express the sheer HELL that is two of my nobhead flatmates.
Walk in to day to find my best friend sobbing in her room because they have switched our fridge off to teach us a lesson about our "unnacceptable" recycling skills and subsequently mine and my friends food has been ruined. Cut to- SCREAMING ROW!!! between me and the queen bitch behind this which result in her trying to slap me as I informed her she was "talking to me like I'm a four years old. I'm not four years old" In a weird kind of way, all of the tension and petty hatred that simmered between us this last three months has vanished and made me feel ten times better. I'm still going home on Friday til Tuesday (and then back home again on Thursday!) but I'm glad I finally got to say my piece. In between crying, my friend managed to stick up for me so that's good to and I'm glad to say she's also retreating for the weekend so the other two witches will be free to plot and poison to their hearts content. We can only home a stray flying elephant lands on the house in our abscence. Sorry for the rant but let this be a warning to anyone wondering "shall I live with my great pals from the halls of residence next year?" The answer is an emphatic no, unless you really, really are 100% confident in your own ability not to turn every petty domestic disagreement into the storming of the Bastille. Quote:

I hate people that think they have a right to tell other people how to live their lives, especially over something as petty as recycling. |

Is anybody else enjoying our favourite presenter, Pip Schofield, finally getting his comeuppance for his bloated ego?
![]() ![]() I'm particularly interested in Anne's opinions on the subject.

Did anyone watch Derren Brown tonight?
If at all possible, if was even worse than last week's Apocalypse nonsense. He's really scraping the barrel these days... |

Not really doing much to disprove the doubters on here but the two boybands are my favourite!! Such a good year for talent in general though. Ella, James, Jahmene and Union J are all brilliant. As was Lucy and Rylan is my guilty pleasure. Such a shame Christopher is there to ruin it. |

I like Union J but District 3 are just useless. And this sounds awful but they are just not pretty enough to be a boyfriend.

You're easily pleased. I think this is possibly the worst year for talent since the Rhydian series.

Can't agree with that. It's been a much better series than 6 and 8 for sure.

I'd say it is marginally worse than 8. Joe and Stacey in 6 both gave performances miles better than anything we've seen in this series.
Jahmene's performance last night was superb too. |

Stacey was distinctly average, great personality but she really didn't give any stand-out performances. James Arthur really is an excellent singer, dull as a person and rude towards us DS lovelies, but he is certainly one of the best singers the X Factor has had in a number of years. In fact I'd say most of his performances have been superior to anything in series 6 and 8.
Jahmene's performance last night was superb too. I don't rate Jahmene that highly, he's too often strained/out of tune/oversinging. He hasn't exactly got the personality of a star either. James was great last night but his other performances haven't been all that, too much mumbling. |
