I love Lidl. The baklava they sell at Christmas is to die for. Might go buy some tomorrow actually.

I just don't have the time and find it a bit of a nuisance to be honest. Might ditch it again

Okay, ads on DS getting ridiculous now. I've now got one taking up the whole right side of the screen, every time I load a new page!

I have you as a friend, but you won't need to worry about getting any Dr. John messages from me. I have a BF now.

Was just listening to a debate on the radio about whether prisoners should get the vote
The most shocking thing about it all was that the UK and one other European country are the only ones not to grant this And the other nation? Belarus! Blimey, do we have the same sort of human rights record as Belarus? That's a scary thought.... Admittedly, all my knowledge about Belarus stems from Eurovision, and how they manage to doctor the NF results to their own agenda, but even so! |

I've just had an over-the-phone argument with my mum about Christmas day.
My sister has planted this idea that we all go out for Christmas lunch... something I've always thought on the same level as boiling kittens in it's sheer wrongness. What's even worse is that I don't eat meat and normally I have the same meal just with Quorn chicken and vegetarian gravy. The vegetarian option at this place is a brie and spinach tart. I'm not eating something so un-festive on Christmas day. It's 45 pounds per head to, which is an obscene amount considering half of the family don't even want to do it! |

![]() I hope you get your Quorn. It's never really got to argument level for me but my mum always insists that we do something on Boxing Day with the whole family even though we host Christmas Day for the whole family. Every year we either have them all in our house for some dull buffet or in the local pub where everyone looks at us whilst we made a noise during their football. She only does it so my grandad isn't lonely on Boxing Day which I find bizarre because there really isn't anything special about Boxing Day and he would much rather be at home watching Sky Sports. No one in the family seems to enjoy it either since they all have to come to our side of the river. I don't want to do anything because I'm still exhausted from Christmas Day. |

Ok I felt sorry for you after you had the arguments with your housemates but now it's clear you just enjoy arguing with everyone you know!

I sound extremely argumentative- I prefer "forthright".

I've found some of the people I'll be living with in Denmark!
At the moment, it's two French boys, a Swedish girl, a Lithuanian girl and a Colombian with a name that could go either way in terms of gender! |
