all of the candidates are coming across really well..

but i just want to wish good luck to Nicola Adam..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicola_Adams

notice we agree sbrum
She's fantastic. I don't think there's been a time when I've seen her on tv that she hasn't had me smiling along with her.

Watching Mo, massive goosebumps again.

And then there was Jess!

Which would piss the Daily Fail off more...a mixed race girl or an immigrant winning?

Go Jess!

Oh and also the Australian swimmer saying that Sydney were the greatest ever, those where the words of the late Antonio Samaranch, who described every Olympics (bar Atlanta) as the greatest ever, it was his trademark, no doubt if he was still IOC president during 2012, then I'm sure he would have said that to Athens, Beijing and London.

I'm sorry - but did I sit through 2 hours of this to get a measly 90 seconds about one of the greatest formula 1 seasons of all time?! Bastards....

LOL @ both. I was laughing that much at Andy that I wasn't even that disappointed Jess came second. But it would have been hard to begrudge anyone the win. It'll be interesting to see the voting breakdown.

What a downer the news was straight afterwards though. If only there was a Christmas playlist somewhere to re-balance the cheer...

The reading of the children's names and the descriptions of them was heartbreaking

It was always going to be that top 4 (assuming Mo was 4th...) and 4 into 3 just doesn't go. It's a shame Mo had to miss out. I think Ennis should have been lower myself but it's good to have a sportswoman inspiring other women. Murray was my winner.

I know it's a Daily Fail link but this really makes my blood boil...

All these shootings of innocent people you hear of in the US yet these evil scum are still walking the planet. Put me in a room with any one of them.

Are these the people that were on Louis Theroux? I really don't know how they're allowed to keep on doing what they're doing.

Only in America. It's in the constitution.

I'm a pacifist and totally against violence in general. That said, I definitely wouldn't judge anyone who did to the WBC what that maniac did in the school on Friday.

Yep, that's them.

They're not Christians in my eyes, they're their own sick cult.

Three days since the last post here

Finally got the end of Masterchef Australia(I know Anne is a fan so this is really just for her).

I kind of wanted Julia to win but I liked Andy too. Poor final tho. Should have been Kylie or Amina.

Now to catch up with the all stars.

Oh and the mrs got all excited at the thought of a foursome with Andy, Ben and Beau when they were a team in the final. Dirty mare

Got Eurovision into the Office Party this week.

At the 10 pin bowling got my highest score on one roll (30 on the last roll) when Waterloo was playing on the big screens..

And later that night, in the Lava Lounge (a club in the centre of cardiff) I said I would get a Eurovision song played by the DJ. This was received by the rest of the group with much disbelief.
Went up and asked for Euphoria of course - 10 minutes later we were dancing to Loreen.

How's everyone feeling about the Last Supper?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USXHxgWoS9g

I'm having a stew so I might be able to survive the impending zombie apocalypse.

Judging by whats staggering around the centre of Cardiff this evening, I think its already started. I need to go through my 33rpm LPs and see what I will sacrifice...

Genesis - Foxtrot - no
Rock Follies - yes
Dire Straits - definitely yes
Dave Dee Dozy Beak Mick and Tich - er maybe

You just know that if X Factor was still on there'd be a theme week about it.

Apparently I'll be part of the last 100 alive, however I set a mine for the zombies to walk over and forget where it is. I walk over it and cause my own demise.
