She must have had like one vote more than Gillian (who presumably got 0). Seriously.

God she was on Strictly? I don't even remember that! She's so forgettable.

She was with Anton Du Berk in the Rachel Stevens/ Lisa Snowdon year.

There were about 900 contestants so it was pretty hard to keep track!

Oh she always looked upset. That's the one thing I remember about her, something relatively minor would happen in the house, it would cut to her and she would almost be in tears.

But yes she's aged very well indeed.

Did they ever prove the rumours she gave somebody a blow-job in a lay-by as true or not?

Now that is proper cold weather! It was -8 the other morning where I live but compared to your -25 it was positively mild.

The BBC actually broadcast some ridiculous news special last night because a little bit of snow fell in Southern England. The snow hasn't even been that bad, it was worse in 2009 and 2010.

I bet YLE would never change the TV schedules to do a news special about the snow.

^ No, they definitely would not, or they'd have to do that on most days during winter

We've had snow every year since 2007 (the most I remember in 2006 was an icing sugar effect that thawed by midday), and there hasn't even been that much this year compared to some others, so I really don't know why they're treating it this way.

I love the snow, i'm annoyed by the media seemingly trying to persuade people they should hate it.

Me too.

We should have learnt by now (and judging by the lack of reporting on the snow across the country for the past week, much of the country has already learnt) to at least deal with the levels we usually get.

The problem is it costs money to cope with snow and ice, stockpiling salt, keeping gritters or ploughs on standby, etc.

Considering our wonderful councils don't even like spending money on important things (unless you count stealing it all for themselves important), there's next to no chance of them keeping any budget back for "freak" weather conditions that may or may not happen.

I was thinking more along the lines of how to deal with small snowfalls, as there seems to have been the past couple of days. I think it's mainly the media this time as there seemed to be less 'chaos' than in previous years.

She's awful.

Although I really don't like Clare and her arrogance of "an American will never win".
