I say 'ulmond' so it's a best of both, although having said that 'almond' is not a word I use that often.

I wouldn't say the L

I say "Almund" but then again I always thought the word Dwarf was pronounced 'Da-warf' up until last year.

I say Olmund

I say it as if it's 'ol-mund' - but the 'L' does sound less like an 'L' because of my southern English accent.

I pronounce it 'aahl-mund'

What about 'Humous'?
I always pronounce it 'Hew-mus' but I keep being told to say 'Hummus' with stress on the 'H'.

I'm a Hugh but everyone else seems to say hum

Al-mund (u as in sun)
Humus (u as in the oo in good)

The l is silent.

I'm not a stickler for pronounciation if someone want's to call it an al-mund then it's their right although strictly not correct.
