I was wondering this, too. Would they be calling it terrorism if a white person did it?

Not often you hear of rioting in a country like Sweden is it? I believe it was after police shot dead a migrant who was armed with a machete, similar story to how our riots started 2 years ago. |

I've got a date tomorrow with a teacher. Will I have to raise my hand whenever I want to speak and say 'Please Sir'?

Oh, he was a nice guy but we weren't really interested in each other. We did however have a nice Eurovision chat on the way home.

I'll be back to normal in a couple of days, it was a cortisone injection into the middle of the joint - but the doctor was fit as, if that's any consolation ![]() And I get to go back and see my Italian Stallion Physio - I still don't know whether to bring up Eurovision or Ferrari, can't work out which one would be better! Has anyone seen what's going on in Istanbul? Reports suggest four dead, with the police suppressing the anti-government protesters with tear gas and water cannons.
I've been informed by someone from the city that a man has had his arm cut off by the police and is now being denied ambulance access. |

I see they recently passed a ludicrous law banning kissing in public. I would never have imagined the Turks introducing a law like that, even just a few years ago. |

It's so sad to see how the ruling AK party is turning the clock back in Turkey.

Its getting next to no coverage on TRT apparently they are showing singing kids. Could you imagine the BBC doing that during the 2011 riots.

I don't know. They're brilliant at what they do, I just don't enjoy it as much as Gabz or Jack Carroll.

I'm also bored to death of blooming singers on the show:yawn:
Ventriloquist should be through. It's a variety show! 6 of the 10 finalists are singers:yawn: |

You mean the Irish guy didn't win tonight?!
He would have clearly won the televote over the Hungarians, so he must have been nobbled by the juries
