Since random tidbits of FM's personal lives tend to make it to this thread, I'm going to bring up what happened to me on Saturday.
Now I'm 18, a guy, and just finished first year of uni. Typical standard Saturday night for someone my age, few pints down the pub then onto a club to get absolutely rat arsed. Now we meet this random thirty something lady drinking alone and she ends up coming clubbing with us. I sat and chatted to her in the corner a lot as the dance floor was a bit crowded and also we were all pretty smashed so I didn't want to leave her alone. All my mates are now convinced I pulled this woman. Didn't even happen but I've had so many "I heard about you" texts the last few days. Bit embarrassing really. Even I've heard of this! |

For the couple of Master Chef Oz fans hiding in here, I can totally recommend the Roux Scholarships on Watch (7pm, Sky 109), followed by the Roux Masterclass on Good Food (8pm, Sky 247).
http://watch.uktv.co.uk/shows/the-ro...olarship-2013/ There's one episode a night for two weeks, following 18 contenders trying out for a place as a chef in a 3 star Michelin restaurant. There have been two episodes so far (last night and tonight), but will be repeated at various points over the week / weekend. Yesterday's show was about the scholarship and the process they went through to find the 18. Tonight was the first time we saw them in action. There were a few bits of "TV Game Show" sneaking into it (one of the tasks was clay-pigeon shooting, because if you eat it, you should be able to kill it?!), but the rest of the show was very well made, with some really nice looking food on there. And as you'd expect, the Masterclass show is just repeating the recipes shown on the Scholarship show, but in more detail. |

Come on then, who on here has stuck with Big Brother? Seems to be a pretty good series so far with plenty of awful humans to hate and nice people to like.
I've already decided that Jackie is my favourite housemate, absolute comedy gold and she seems so nice as well! No-one can replace Deana from last year though! |

Why on Earth is Big Brother still on? It should have stayed dead and buried when Channel 4 put it to sleep, talk about flogging a dead horse.

I actually applied for this years Big Brother! The fact I am here gives a slight clue as to how my application went...I just thought why not...I didn't have a job at the time and thought it was worth applying....however...
I recently found out I have been offered a permanent job, and it is exactly what I was looking for! I start in a few weeks and will be moving down from Scotland to the bright lights of Manchester! Chuffed!!!!!

I saw somebody refer to Andrea as "Nana Maskouri" in the Voice thread and it reminded of Athens when Nana almost got hit in the face with that giant rotating hourglass.

I think that's the voice finished for good.
2nd year in a row its had very poor ratings and the winner is distinctly average. She was a nice girl but let's be totally honest, if she wasn't blind she wouldn't have been close |
