Certainly seems like it. Considering the people whinging in this thread are specifically picking at the most expensive model, totally ignoring the two cheaper models.

But most other companies don't give you the choice of capacity, so you really can't say that.
And before you say about external storage - again you don't always get that.
So while I agree that £730 is a joke, I think its better that the option is there than if Apple just had a 16GB version available (which is basically what other companies do).

Personally, I don't have many that have costed much.
But I know people who have bought TomTom apps and the like, which cost a bit.
Office like apps aren't that cheap either (I think quickoffice is somewhere close to £10?).
It all adds up too.
And that doesn't address the other issues regarding apps and the whole ecosystem. Android has got a hell of a lot better, but its still behind. And Windows Phone is miles behind both android and iOS.
It is actually really annoying. I'd love a Lumia 920 as my next phone, but the lack of certain apps on Windows Phone is just too big of an issue for me. Its only been the last few months where I have been able to start considering an android device (again because of the lack of certain apps).
