The 4S was based on the iPhone 4 and was not a full new model. So iPhone 5 it is - not sure what the problem is - it's just a name.
Just don't look into the model names of Palm Pilots - it may blow your mind - they had the original, II and III and then went straight to V with no IV - they were wild times
