Race for No.1
Robertfitz

So I, like a lot of people were surprised when Amelia shot straight to number 1 on the iTunes chart. Pleasantly surprised to be fair. In the mid week chart she was confirmed to be in the lead for pole position.

However, The Script has since replaced Ameila at the top. Do you think they can get it? I really want Lilly to get it.

I'm guna be on iTunes watch till Sunday -_-

*EDIT
Since posting, Ameilas now at number 3!

There is always such pressure to be number 1 in the charts or what position, but it's all about if it sells in the long run

I think The Script will get #1 this week (and sell more in the long run too).

Amelia has done very well though.

As disappointing as The Script's single is, I'd easily take it over Amelia and Ne-Yo. After how everyone seemed to think YBMJ's shooting to No.1 was some "massive shock", I think Hall of Fame getting there would be a much bigger surprise!

I prefer Amelia's song but The Script will get the number one. Amelia's sales are front-loaded and she's falling quickly, and there's another version of Hall Of Fame at #42.

Out of the options, I prefer The Script. I'm not a fan of Amelia's song at all. They put her across as this sorta (pop) rock chick and she then releases a song that sounds like a David Guetta B-Side. Massive fail.
