Has everybody seen/heard this?

I'm not sure I like it. I'm so used to just the tune that hearing lyrics will be really strange. It'll take some getting used to, anyway.

Ergh, I hated when they added lyrics to the Dancing on Ice theme tune, and I similarly hate this. Why, Beeb?

It is rather baffling. Why mess with what wasn't broken? It sounds somewhat cheaper, in my opinion.

What on earth was that! Change it and quickly, its horrendous-why on earth did they feel they had to that The original theme is iconic and gets me in the mood-Pah!

I feel like one of those old ladies who sit with a pen and paper and Ofcom on speed dial, but I've sent a complaint to the Beeb. The new theme just sounds so... bleurrggghh.

Oh, I don't know why people are complaining. The vocals add a contemporary edge and are essential to keeping the show current yet still retaining an urbane feel. It is important to remind people that the show is about dancing. Yes, it's in the title, but some people might forget that.

The actual singing tune doesn't even seem to match the actual music.... I hope they change it back!

I wrote this:
I've just listened to the clip on the main site with a preview of the 'new' theme tune. It is absolutely horrendous, cheap sounding and tacky - all of which SCD doesn't represent. I love the show and this years line up is amazing. Please don't spoil things by messing with the iconic theme tune which represents class and style in keeping with the show. Also it is of course is the first thing people hear each week as the show starts - this could put them off from watching for the reasons stated above. Keep the theme tune with no lyrics!
