It can't do any harm if its for one night only.

It's the BBC trying to be a bit "street."

The very thought of it has me smiling.

It's a naffin' dance programme, the intro needs to be a "big band production" to which, the original came close.

This is just another attempt by a "suit" at the BBC to fix something that wasn't broke, to justify their existence

The BBC are ruining this programme by constantly chasing ratings.

Bring back Ray McVay, though I guess he's happier being "Glen Miller" and earning far more money than he ever did with "Come Dancing."

Here's some proper ballroom music.

Haha, I can't believe I'm doing this.....

In hindsight..... I *loved* that! I thought it worked wonderfully for that opening dance!

I think I jumped the gun a bit.

It's awful. I much preferred the old one.

darn it - I've just wasted ten minutes of my life complaining. I should have read the whole thread first.

I was expecting it to be played as the opening title sequence but it worked fine as part of a pro dance so wasn't as noticeable.

That was what I initially thought, hence why I jumped ahead so much.

I probably should have realised we wouldn't have had the opening title sequence... since they'd have given away the partners!

I really need to start engagingmy brain before I speak!

The way it was promoted on the website at first you would think that 'new title sequence' but without the pairings was being included as a separate shot in some way.

I actually feel bad now for complaining about this as I enjoyed the opening with the music and the pros etc so wish I hadn't said it was rubbish now
