I really don't think so. I believe she has become imprinted on Dan, just as some birds become imprinted on hang gliding humans.

Dan has known since week 2 that he could do as he pleases with her and she will keep coming back to him. I suspect Danielle genuinely believed she couldn't beat Shane at F2, which is why she persuaded the simpleton to volunteer to go on the block (again) so that Dan could do (evict him) what she could not. I believe the rest is just acting.
