If Dan wanted final 2 to be him and Daniel. He should've given that part to her, cause she's gonna have no chance against Ian if its another memory of the hoh's competition...

But winning part one guarantees that Dan is in part 3 - which is the one that counts and which Dan has already proven to be good at based him winning it on BB10. If he threw part one and lost part two then his fate would be in someone else's hands and that would not look good to the jury.
