The Prop-o-meter?

Do we think this series is going to be as prop laden as the last?

From people standing on bridges, to cuddling rag dolls, sitting on thrones, checking in at airline desks, shooting (slowly) out of canons (and a whole lot more) we sure did see it all last season. I'm not getting into a debate about who likes or doesn't like props, but do you think we will see so many?

I've heard that they're cutting down the props a teeny bit this year, but I still expect taxi cabs, gingerbread houses and CGI pterodactyls.

Also, they weren't exactly imaginative with the props last year, were they?

Lyric: "When I was a little girl, I had a rag doll..."
Dance: Alex is holding a rag doll.

Lyric: "I'm standing on a bridge..."
Dance: Natalie is STANDING ON A GODDAMN BRIDGE.

They sure bludgeoned the meaning of the lyrics home with the props last year!

I wouldn't have minded the mechanical bull if they had switched it to MAX.

Strictly Come Dancing is a light entertainment show, so props do add to the fun factor each week.

The props idea came with the last producer, and maybe went with her too.

Lyrics :" like a bat out of hell... "
Dance: paso with both dressed as bats, on floor flooded with molten lava.

I'm wondering if the show this year will be any different from the last 2 years. I personally thought Russell being fired out a very lame cannon backfired on the producers, as he was booted off that night. Will anything have changed this year with the new producers? Or will it be props galore and dreadful VTs? Just 24 hours to go!

Dear Russell was let down by that cannon stunt the producers forced him to do.
