hi folks, im a straight guy who likes music that i enjoy! no matter if its cool music or music that would make others cringe!..are there other guys out there with the same problem ...im at the end of my tether now! and really dont care what others think anymore!

i'm a guy who listens to all types of music. current chart music, 90s, 80, 70s. even stuff from the 1920's and 30's , some idiots may think this is strange......but music is music , it doesn't matter how old it could be. if the song is good. its timeless!

stuff from today though do not compare to people like mj, beatles , elvis. etc.

That's the beauty of music. There is so much out there that it is impossible not to have your taste catered for and what is good is different for anyone.

My tastes vary from Taylor Swift to Metallica, from 1930s blues and jazz to modern day hard rock. I don't believe in genre labels as I just listen to what sounds good to me.

thats exactly what im talking about! but if i was to tell some what i listen to..they look at you at how can you like that and vary to that ? so what if i enjoy listening to say old PWL stuff and like say some indie stuff etc!

Yup, today for example I was listening to Prince singing songs like When Doves Cry, Purple Rain, Cream, Pop Life, Uptown etc. and then 5 minutes later I was listening to Bing Crosby recordings on my ipod from the early 30's like I Surrender Dear, Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams, Sweet Georgia Brown etc. I'm 18 and I may have strange tastes in music (for someone my age) but I just like music that I think sounds good.
