My IPad's playing silly beggars
I have an IPad 1 and I'm having a problem whereby whenever I choose a website to look at, it brings that website up then seems to shut back down to the desktop screen. It's really quite frustrating.
It's not my wireless because it doesn't happen on a laptop or PC. Anyone got any suggestions as to what it might be? Thanks in advance. |

Have you got loads of tabs open in safari? If so, close them down.
Double tap the home button and if you have a huge string of app 'cookies' along the bottom, delete them all. Also have you tried a hard reset? Press home and sleep together for about 5 seconds and you'll get a red slider come up. Do that and it'll shut down. Then leave it a few mins and hold the home button for 5 secs to boot up again. |

If that doesn't work you can back up all your apps on iTunes and then do a restore. You will see the options in iTunes.

Also have you tried a hard reset? No is the answer to both questions. I only try to open one link at a time and am quite anal about closing down tabs as I go. Will try the hard reset later. |
