I think you have to subscribe to the pogo service. This reformats web pages and reduces image quality so that you can view web pages using a slow connection. The current cost is 7.99 a month.
You will probably also have to use the Mobile Web settings as the GPRS ones only work for "WAP over GPRS". Using "Web over GPRS" is NOT free. I looked in to this when pogo first came out (a long time a go), it works out quite expensive. On O2 it would be 7.99 a month plus 2.35 a megabyte! |

Just noticed you have an N-Gage, you could get the same service using the Opera browser and their proxy service which would work out very much cheaper.

Its a very cool phone, you got a real bargain there. Probably the best phone you could get for £40!
There is a new version of the Netfront browser for the 6600, its quite good. Last edited by prking : 08-12-2004 at 20:09. Reason: add info |

I remember reading something about re-structuring and the website hasn't been updated for a while.
I wouldn't be surprised if they had, I think they were too early as data charges were far too expensive. They might stand a better chance now, Orange 3G data is only 50p a megabyte once you've used your allowance. |
