Dear God, the song's terrible. But you have to give the Koreans kudos for knowing how to have a good time and put on a cracking live show. The live performance is better than the video.

PSY just does the same tuneless, repetitive beat rubbish that rappers have been churning out for the last 15 years.

It's up to No 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 after a mere 2 weeks in the chart...........this is going to be huge! Love it.

There are some good k-pop songs, but Gangnam Style is easily not one of them. I actually feel bad for other Korean artists who actually produce good music because from now on most of people would think "this" is what k-pop is.

I have heard this song since July, my daughter's a big fan of k-pop.

Sick of it now although I can still watch the video and laugh.

On k-pop, I quite like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0ZHXVp_wUE

Maybe if the UK did come out with something as catchy as this, they would finally win.

Yes, because I don't take myself too seriously, and go out of my way to voice my intense dislike of modern music to anyone that'll listen.

Better to live a happy life than a sad miserable one.

Obviously, if the song is #1 in many countries in the world, then it has struck a chord with the public and therefore deserves to be #1.

How did this song get so big? It's like it sprung from nowhere.

Social media. Quite common now, talentless popstars like Britney Spears plugging it to millions of brainwashed kids

This is the Asian Mambo Number 5 or Macarena.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Although the video is quite funny even if it steal the horsey dance.

Gangnam is a district in Seoul, its known for being incredibly rich and that is what the video is about, its mocking the rich lifestyle Koreans live, its sort of like the Beverley Hills of South Korea.
If you went there you'd see the Korean equivalent of Paris Hilton types with their big sunglasses, tight, short dresses and little dogs in handbags.
