I have a feeling that should it be Derek, the storyline will become a bit more sinister. I said on the episode thread that I can imagine him becoming obsessed with her.

Kat's is "damaged" enough as it is. Derek rapeing her would be a step backwards. TPTB need to start redeeming her and make her likeable again. That can't be done until this shagger story is over. Plus I don't think he needs to force her to do it, she seems pretty keen to me She's like a cat in heat
