Super Mario Bros let down
I was playing the old Super Mario games on a SNES emulator and I completed the first game on Super Mario All Stars.
My reward for my efforts was to redo the whole game again. It comes up with a star next to 1-1 and in the style of the Catherine Tate gran I thought it was a liberty to ask me to complete a game I just done. Has anyone had any experience of completing a game you struggled with as a kid only to realise that at the end it didn't seem worth it. |

Yeah. Most NES games!
I was only satisfied if there were credits. Some games just ended abruptly. |

A different time of gaming back then when the satisfaction was in the completing the game.
Nowadays it seems the satisfaction is what you can unlock when you complete a game. |

I remember when my friend at uni completed Haven on the PS2. Because he hadn't collected these special rings or something throughout the game he got the 'bad' ending which involves his character being chained to a rock whilst the baddie continually laughs and calls you useless!
