And the way he acts in-front of Alex, there's being friendly and then there's just being OTT.

He is the only character in Emmerdale that makes me cringe!

He can be very irritating. But he was very good after John's death and generally I find him OK as a background character.

I don't like Adam much as a character because he's a raging hypocrite and he seems to think he's some kind of angel when he blatantly isn't! (Ella and Mia, burning down the garage...)

I can't stand Adam either his acting is terrible and that voice just grates on me. As for that bl**dy quad bike you can tell he has just driven it from out of shot not all the way from the farm. Makes me laugh every time.

Joking aside though...He's ok in small doses...I found him bareable in any scene with Aaron and after the death of his Dad & Mia....

DuchessKitty is right though, he's such a hypocrite.
