According to wikipedia, Australia are currently 12 weeks behind us.

EastEnders airs on UKTV in Australia which is a subscription only channel. I don't think it airs as part of freeview so the only way you'd be able to watch EastEnders would be if where you were staying had a subscription to the channel.

Over the past few weeks UKTV screened double episodes of Eastenders in order to get as current as possible. Now we're only about a month behind.

Can you watch the latest episodes on Youtube/Dailymotion? I know the latest of H&A are usually blocked here on YT but not Dailymotion

I love eastenders but if I was on holiday in Australia I'd be out helping Skippy rescue people out of wells rather than watching who is shagging Kat.

i was in australia in 2007 and even though i had sky+ i managed to miss about a month and it was around the time of the stella/ben stuff so i missed all of that. i never got round to watching it i was gonna download it but then uk nova is off now
im surprised i managed to start watching again cos im not very good with catching up but i think it was a good time to start watching again cos stella had gone and ronnie/roxy just came in so there were lots of new s/l's starting

OP are you going to melbourne?

Its always normally in the top 20 of Satellite shows, but never really that high. It tends to fluctuate between 35-85,000.

Last Thursday for example

EE: 63,000
CS: 53,000
Neighbours: 303,000 (on a channel equivalent to ITV2/E4 ie free but only on digital)
H&A: 932,000 (on a channel equivalent to ITV1).

So not highly watched, but in terms of pay TV it is one of the bigger shows
