1. I've had a change of heart about Darcey. She'll bring some class and sophistication - and she knows what she's talking about.

2. I love Jerry Hall even more than I thought I would. She's glamorous and quick witted and up for it!

3. Feel sorry for Erin. She's only had 2 decent partners in 10 series. Artem/Pasha/Aliona had 2 in the space of 2 years! Put her out of her misery and fire her if you're not going to give her anymore contenders.

4. Colin & Kristina are more mismatched than I imagined. Silly move not to pair him with someone taller. But they are still one of my favourite couples. And Colin oozes sex appeal.

5. I groaned inwardly when Lisa Riley announced she was doing it for the big girls.

I liked it, the cast are great and looking forward to the series. I never thought I would say it but Bruse was bad, I hope he sees the light and makes this his last. Constantly reading his cue cards is not good and his puns are becoming dire.

Anyone who could make a decent attempt at the autocue and could actually remember anything without having to read straight from cards.

I'm not that keen on Bruce but not that bothered about replacing him until now, he was bad tonight.

He gets paid an awful lot of money to present that show, he's stilted, awkward and he cannot deliver a line anymore because he can't read them, so I don't know, Rob Brydon, Paul o'Grady, Brian Conley, Graham Norton, Tess and Claudia, Alexander Armstrong? And bonus, they can all read the autocue and keep the show moving.

I agree tha Bruce was quite poor tonight. The reading from the cards was obvious and didn't make for good presenting.

I think would be very fitting for Bruce to bow out after ten series.

The trouble is, if people go on too long, they're not remembered with affection, but irritation.

1. Bruce sucks.
2. Colin and Kristina; David and Goliath...
3. Jerry seems like fun. Probably not going to dance the world alight but eh.
4. Aliona and Artem's unrequited joy at their partner announcements.
5. Nice to see Darcey give the dancing a go. Not perfect but solid.

2. Glad to see Aliona with a duffer!
3. Artem, please put your chest away.
4. Pasha looked delicious despite the hair
5. Karen looks fantastic, think she'll fit right in.

Alexander Armstrong is an interesting proposition. I'm listening....

But in all honesty, i'm so bowed over and pleased its back I dont notice how good or bad Bruce is.. hes just Bruce and he's fine.

That makes me think thats half the point. Its not really about him is it. If SCD was ever about the presenters it wouldnt be the SCD we know and love...

Im happy with Bruce and Tess (for better for worse). Better the devil you know.....

But the reason so many of us get irritated by him is because he DOES think it's all about him. He does so many things that make you step away from the show and notice him being a bad presenter.

He upsets the flow, he's inappropriate at times, he can't read - surely a pre-requisite of a prresenting show, he fails to deliver a punchline, he mistimes the few words he does have, he can't link and he's not very good at timings, he's always rushing people off because he's ad-libbed or mis-delivered. It's unprofessional and cheapens the SCD brand.

Bruce shouldn't do it because he's always done it, he should do it because he's the best person for the job and that's patently not true anymore.

You look at DWTS that has a professional, competent host and you see the difference and it's embarrassing. His gaffes aren't funny anymore, they're just sad.

I don't take any pleasure in saying it, but if Bruce stays much longer he's going to ruin any fondness that the few still have for him. I think the balance has tipped and maybe more are ready for something new and Bruce can leave with his reputation intact.

My favourite Uk programme but its Two seasons where I’ve had to mute Bruce, to get through it!!
The new professional dancer (Karen) is fierce.
I think Jerry Hall is going to be my guilty pleasure
Wow, Pendleton’s legs were gorgeous – expected them to be athletic rather than sexy!
Louis was a little ‘gay’ in the group dance. Man-up and you’ll get my vote. (sorry if this is politically incorrect but I tried loads of other versions, but this expressed it best!)
I dont know, it just doesnt pass my radar (sorry!)... I am too eager too see the dancing I guess, so he never really bothers me..

The opinions I form relate mainly to the dancers and what they do on any given night. I think I enjoy the show so much, I never notice how good or bad he is. Its like Brian D on BB. His role, really in the scheme of things, doesnt really matter. In my lowly view, its about the celebs and pros and most importantly what they deliver.

It is this, which gives it the edge above X Factor (which always gains most publicity regarding the Judging roles rather than the competitors)..Not so strictly.

I think I would only notice if they replaced him with someone else. I like Brucie, I think he does an inoffensive job. If he became the centerpiece then SCD would be in serious trouble...

1. Were glad to see James and Ola back
2. Bruce seemed to have improved this year! So far It seemed like he wasnt reading off an autocue but all off cards??
3. I warmed to Darcy a little compared to when she was last on- Hope I can like her.
4. I thought Kristina and her partner looked a bit silly together with the height difference and think they are already off to a poor start because of that! She seemed to dance better with the one Flavia is paired with in the group dance at the end.
5. Was suprised Flavia didn't end up with Johnny Ball and that Anton got by all intentions the biggest start of the show at the moment!

OK. I get where you're coming from now. . I absolutely detest Brian with a passion.

You come from the "it's all a bit of light, frothy fun" school of viewers. I come from the "they're being paid a bucket load of money, they should at least be able to do the job they're paid for" school.

You just notice the dancers, I just wish I noticed the dancers but he's like a great big fog horn with the World's strongest torch shining in my face distracting me from all the dancers.
