1. Colin and Kristina are a ridiculous mismatch. Not at all fair on him and I can just imagine how bad they'll look when in hold.

2. Louis looked disappointed at getting Flavia. I think he was wanting Kristina, but then again maybe it was just nerves.

3. Was very sad to see Katya leave, but Karen looks a fantastic dancer.

4. Disappointed we're unlikely to see that much of Artem or Aliona this series, but seems only fair they should get relative duds this time.

5. Loving Jerry. So cool, with a quick wit delivered in a quite fantastic Texan drawl.

Glad I didn't give in and look at the spoilers but can't promise to be as good once the show starts in earnest.

Louis appears very very shy - hope he settles quickly

Not too keen on new dancer - a bit too keen for me

Can see Richard playing havoc with Tess's script - he seems very sharp.

Love Colin's voice, so smooth - hope his dancing is as good, if so we are in for a scorcher.

(First post this year - what a long time to wait).

Were they struggling to get people -
1. Zoe - ask yer Dad if he'll do it.
2. We need a fat one who's not worked for a while.
3. Get a CBeebie to keep the kids interested.
4. See if Van Outens hanging about reception again.
5. What about that tart who lied about the gastric band?

My thoughts are that Denise was fibbing. Who is she trying to kid that she doesn't dance? She was really good in that group dance.
And how amazing was Bruce Forsyth? No one could complain about his age from that opening show.
The only disappointment was the singing. If only the show had just the music and rhythms with no vocal gymnastics. I just find the singing very off putting.

1. I knew all but one of the celebs for once! And I have no clear favourite!
2. New girl Karen seems to be a good dancer and have a sense of humour...and she looks like Nicole Scherzinger
3. Darcey and Ian's dance was lovely, but the stuff she said on the judging panel was cringeworthy.
4. Following on from #3, all the judges were terrible, and Tess & Bruce even more so - couldn't even pronounce Ola Jordan's name properly, and it's not as if she hasn't been on the show for about 7 years...oh wait...
5. Enjoyed the pro dances much more than most of the past couple of years.

5. Victoria Pendleton looked fecking amazing and I hope she and Brendan will go a long away (because apart from anything her OH is very hot and I'd like to see him in the audience every week )

3. Pasha looked strange.

4. Victoria's abs!!! Whoa!
