...... Am I the only one who thinks its a terrible first single for Christina? I've seen a lot of love for it across these forums and Im getting confused as to weather I'm hearing the same song as the rest of you?

It's completely generic. The hook isn't as catchy as it could be. And it has forgettable stamped all over it.

Am I the only one that sees this as a complete flop?

It is awesome, her best single in a very long time (and her first single in a very long time lol).

The hook is genius. It's so simple yet so catchy, typically Max Martin. I love the production which sort of branches away from the current electro-house trends and adds a bit more of an urban feel particularly in the verses. And of course Christina's vocals are incredible and you just know she'll pull it off live...

The song just has an energy about it which I love with every listen. For me it's a great track, and while it has cues from other hits of the past, it's a song in it's own right and I think it's great Christina has taken this direction.

A mixture. I've been with her music for as long as I can remember, but this is definitely one of her top songs. Her voice elevates it to something higher than it otherwise would be.

EDIT: Truth be told, it isn't anything she hasn't done before. It certainly has echoes of her earlier songs (Slow Down Baby, Dirrrty and Not Myself Tonight come to mind), but the delivery in her voice, this time, contains pinpoint accuracy. It isn't undercooked or overcooked. Just a flawless vocal delivery.

I'm in agreement with Robert actually. I don't see how this is thematically, or in many ways, musically different to 'Not Myself Tonight'. Only difference is the 'Not Myself Tonight' video was trashy as.
