I don't remember the specifics of the first episode I watched but I've been watching since series 1. I loved seeing Brendan win with Natasha and am still a Brendan fan. I might not have seen the very first episode but it made me feel old last night when they said this was the tenth series.

Alesha and Matthew Cutler made my first series a dream come true!

Yep, i remember, but then it was only last year. I love the process of the thing. They could do a show in which a group of people learn carpentry or dog grooming and I'd watch. Or even they could ditch the dancing and have Johnny Ball teach the pros how to make a sky rocket out of toothpaste and fag ash. It's the principle of the thing. Love seeing how folk get on with learning new stuff and being taught.

I remember first watching it the week before Peter Schmeichel left (don't ask me how I remember that). I was at my Grandparents house and because they were huge fans of the show, I sat and watched it with them and loved it. I think my mum and dad had watched it before that but I didn't (what was wrong with me). I didn't become properly hooked until series 5 and I cried so many times including when Matt forgot the dance, when Gethin got voted out and when Alesha won

I have watched every show since the first one, for me it is the beginning of winter and symbolic of curling up on the sofa on a Saturday evening curtains drawn fire on glass of wine in hand to just watch something without having to use much brain power and enjoy it for what it is

My first series was 2008 with Tom & Camilla being the winners (sadly).

I completely fell in love with Vincent that year, him and Rachael were just PERFECT

Been watching since Series 1 - getting a bit tired now, and it definitely ain't what it used to be.

Been addicted to it since Series 3 because my parents were watching it so I took an interest. I think they also watched Series 2 but I was only 5 so I didn't pay much attention.

My first memory is of someone (I can't remember who) being scored in Series 1/Series 2.

I think I only started liking SCD because of the scoring, I love statistics. (Yes, I know I'm sad!)

I watched from the first episode. I even remember the BBC 3 show with Justin Lee Collins and how the rest of the cast didn't even bother to hide their dislike of Natasha Kaplinsky.

That's what I remember from series 1 too. Chris' Paso Doble must still be one of the funniest things from the series. Hardly any technique whatsoever.

I caught bits & pieces from series 4 due to watching "the other side - XF", but have been hooked since series 7, which I know most fans have deemed the worst series, but I loved Ricky W (although I never heard of him) & still believe he was robbed!

Chrismas to me now means forgoing late night Christmas shopping (at Bham Bullring) & rushing home for ITT!!

LOL. Still one of the best things ever. The running with the cape will stay with me forever.

Haha, I know right? I can't remember a time when I could do Christmas shopping without having to schedule it around ITT.

Series 5 was when me and my other half were expecting so it went from keeping us in of a weekend whilst my other half got big to being our favorite telly show ever, now 5 years on and another kid here, we have kept to our autumn/winter tradition

My first-ever glimpse at the world of Strictly is at 5:24 in the above video when Fiona Phillips broke down in tears during training with Brendan Cole.

I thought: 'this looks intruiging' and have not looked back since...
